This hotel is a landmark in Albuquerque, immediately recognizable by the pyramid shape. I knew that it was not originally Built as a a Marriott, but I was hopeful that the high standards of the Marriott brand would ensure quality in this established property. I was wrong. The first room I was given had a number of maintenance issues. The... More

Traveling on business. This hotel has been around for maybe 20+ years under different ownership. The room was very dated but reasonably clean. Best part of the hotel is the location, and the downstairs restuarant is good for breakfast. Probably would not return, but again the location is compelling. More

I really liked this Marriott. Right off I-25 and near some nice restaurants (try Pappadeux Seafood Grill). Bar staff was very friendly and service was prompt. This is the first Marriott that put the extra pillows and towels I ordered in the room prior to my arrival. I ordered room service breakfast through the card you fill out and hang... More

After several rough driving hours through rain, sleet, and snow covered roads, you can imagine how I felt upon my arrival at the Albuquerque, New Mexico Mariott Hotel, otherwise known as the Mariott Pyramid. After another 18 hour day I was tired. The one constancy I seem to encounter at Mariott’s is the fast, friendly, and courteous service. At 10pm... More

As always, the staff is friendly and ready to help with any problem. I had made a reservation at the pyramid and then got online to add another night, but accidently reserved the additional night at the lousiana marriott. I didn't want to move and the next morning, the front desk said that even though they were booked someone almost... More

This particular Marriott in Albuquerque seemed pretty average. The front staff at check-in did a very nice job. very welcoming for Marriott members. I was disappointed that at a hotel of this size within the Marriott chain that they did not have a dedicated Marriott members lounge. Really seemed lacking in the rewards offers but I suppose thats alright, it... More

I stayed here for a company party being held for Cinco de Mayo and the hotel is beautiful. This was originally a Holiday Inn, then changed a few times until it became the Marriott. The hotel is older, but very beautiful! They are always updating the facility. Check-in was easy and lots of parking. There are only two elevators in... More

I've stayed here several times on business. The staff is mostly very helpful, friendly and nice. Unfortunatley the hotel is pretty dated and badly in need of some refurbishment. It's kind of dim, and starting to look a bit shabby, but seems pretty clean. I had a room with a broken air conditioner that sounded like a prop motor on... More

I was recently here for a karate tournament. My bed was comfy, room (217) was clean and quiet, the staff is nice and tolerant. My only complaints are with the slow elevators...that is why we stayed on the 2nd floor. We used the stairs at all times. I was there for 3 nights. The restaurant is adequate. Not great, not... More
