1st time staying at a Super 8. Room was large, price was right, Recently remodeled by the Three Stooges. Bathroom was a mess...caulking and dry wall were atrocious. Bed cover had two cigarette burn holes in it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was run of the mill. Great location to the Crescent City Harbor and the sea lions that... More

Found this hotel through travelworm.com, it was a great price and a great spot overlooking the harbor. Once we had arrived we were glad that we had booked there, as it had a great view, for the price, compared to other motels which had no ocean view. It was near the road, so there was some road noise which quietened... More

Its Super 8 and you never expect much here....The room was clean and comfortable and the price of course was right! The staff were friendly and helpful with our questions of the area. Have stayed here before this and will stay again. Just keep in mind you get what you pay for so if your looking for more than a... More

Traveling solo is always expensive hotel wise. When I checked in on a Sunday evening, the clerk told me that all the less expensive one bed rooms were taken. So I decided to take a two bedded room for about $15 more ($71.50 tax included). I ended up staying three nights, so I could have changed rooms the following day.... More

This hotel has a great location but needs some attention before it goes downhill. The room was good-sized & looked out on the water. Those are the good points. The towels were terribly thin. The refrigerator didn't work well & wasn't on when we got there. The warming light in the bathroom didn't work. Breakfast was very poorly maintained. Coffee... More

We found the staff accommodating, and the place clean, but bedspread had 2 cigarette burns and door threshold totally loose. Laundry facilities were good. We stayed 2 nights to see Redwoods Park. The price was the best part. For all intents and purposes, consider only juice and coffee as the continental breakfast. More

Book and paid for our room in advance. We arrived late at night, and they said they gave our original room away, and we would have to pay more for an upgraded room....Seriously!!!! \my husband booked in while stayed in the car, we were tired and had already paid for the room so he just did it. Not impressed at... More

I was not expecting much from this hotel given the price I was paying (~$60/night). However, this hotel did not meet my expectations. First, we arrived at 11 pm at night, the front door was locked and I had to ring a buzzer and wait for someone to arrive at the window. The whole check in process happened at the... More

With the going price for most rooms in the coastal area being $120+, this place was a bargain at half the price! It's everything you would expect from any decent hotel (fridge, microwave, laundry, COFFEE POT), and friendlier staff than almost any other I have encountered on this cross country trip. More

We knew this was an older, redecorated hotel. We got a good AARP rate.. We took a room on the second floor. It was large and very clean. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The fridge with a separate freezer compartment worked really well for us. The TV was just fine. We had a table with two comfortable chairs, which... More
