Stayed here a few years a go and the place was a dump, came back this year due to poor planning on my part and found it was under new management. major changes in service and quality - new shower building is awesome. We stayed in a small camper, can not reccommend for tent campers. More

Our daughter attends camp in Estes Park and we have stayed at "Mary's Lake" for the past 2 parent's weekend pickups. We rent a one bedroom, 2 bath condo that is equipped with a full kitchen, pull out sofa and is perfect for our stay. In the condos there is no maid service, but it is worth the price savings.... It's a nice enough campground. The amenities are very good, although the pool is tiny. But the big problem is there are no trees, so it is totally wide open. The tent sites in the back are spaced out nicely, but because of the lack of trees, there is no absolutley no privacy. You can see all the sites and... More

If you have an RV, it may not be too bad. We were tent camping and had a terrible experience at this campground. Crowded, sites close together, constant noise and absolutely no regulation of quiet hours. I think I slept a total of about 2 hours. We had people walking by our tent yelling all night long. One of the... More

I have never camped in CO before, only in NJ and PA. I honestly thought my expectations were reasonable, based on having only done pretty basic car camping. In fact, I was hoping for more "realistic" camping experience in the mountains. We were shocked at the close quarters at this campground. Our site was had no privacy and the family... More

We tent camped on a site on the North (just past the large RV parking area). Many sites had no close neighbors. Ours had a nice view and was close to the new bath house. There is another older one that we did not visit. Some sites are closer together and some have good shade. Wed & Thur it was... More

This past weekend was my first visit since the county took over the campground. Being a tent camper that likes having amenities rather than roughing it, this is still a good place to go. Bathrooms and showers were clean (shower is $2 for 6 minutes), ice and firewood were reasonably priced at the campground store and it's a nice location.... More

If you own a motor home you will probably like this place. If you tent camp or have a pop up you will not like this place. The campground map is deceiving. I was in M127 the map shows the site right behind me to be a ways away. Actually their picnic table was 7 feet from my trailer. The... More

I have camped at dozens of campgrounds over the past 40 years and have never had a worse camping experience. If you like no privacy, screaming children, absolutely no enforcement of the so-called quiet time then this is the place for you. I cannot convey strongly enough my complete dissatisfaction with this campground. More
