Here's my honest opinion: The room is nice - as it should be (we're paying $289 for a night - $320 with taxes). Here's the part where the Estes Park Resort gets a huge FAIL...We ordered room service for dinner. $60 and nearly an hour later (the room service brochure says food will be delivered within 30 minutes) the food... This is by far the best bar/restaurant in Estes! "Jimmy" the bartender made it a fun stop after a walk around Lake Estes. We had a Mimosa and Bloody Mary by he fireplace overlooking the Rocky Mountains. Nowhere else can you get this magnificent view in Estes Park! The service was amazing!! We stopped at the Stanley and no one... More

The rooms are clean, although a bit small. Centrally located with an attached restaurant which is superb. They have a friendly international staff who are eager to please. Prices are a bit high, although this is arguably the second best place in Estes Park next to the Stanley Hotel. Located on the shores of Lake Estes, the view are superb.

This place is a true Gem. Spent 3 great nights here this week. Upgraded to a fabulous suite for a very small change in price. View was breathtaking and room was fabulous. 2 fireplaces, spa tub, 2 decks and 2 baths. Bed was like a cloud. Walking path to town along lake had elk and eagles ! Spa treatment exceeded... More

We just spent four nights at the resort while hiking in RMNP. The restaurant is fantastic with friendly servers and great food. The service at the resort was equally good. Resort is a bit dated, but comfy none the less. Would recommend checking it out if you want a comfortable place to stay in Estes and the convenience of a... More

We had a lovely view of the snow covered mountains! We did not eat at the resort, but the bar had nice appetizers and interesting drinks, "Spice Apple Cake" was particularly good! We did wake up to a foot of snow and they had no electric, so they went and got donuts for the visitors to have something for breakfast.... More

The Estes Park Resort provides an incredible view of Lake Estes with Long's Peak, Twin Sisters and the full mountain range behind the lake! It is breath taking. It is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are well furnished, the beds are extremely comfortable and the staff is very helpful. We had dinner in the dining room and have enjoyed happy... More

On short notice I called the front desk manager to ask about our options for a one day retreat for 15 people (since we live in Estes we did not need to spend the night). We started our day with an amazing brunch buffet and spent the afternoon and evening in the hospitality suite (yes, we all fit very comfortably).... More

The Estes Park Resort is in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Estes and Longs Peak. I was planning a special weekend for my husband's 50th birthday and did my research on Trip Advisor. 95% of the reviews for this Resort were great and I loved the thought of having a room overlooking the lake. So I called the Resort directly... More

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Estes Park Resort while attending a wedding in April, which is shoulder season in the mountains. I was surprised at the $135 per night we were meant to pay for a basic room on the lower level of the building. But not as surprised by the strange room layout. The bathroom... More
