Really a shabby hotel, kinda sad. Great town with so much to offer should not have this kind of dump for lodging. The breakfast was prepackaged sweet rolls, fruit flavored "juice" box, coffee, and milk. Difficult to say if it was clean or not...so many stains on the carpet and so shabby. More

We booked rooms to stay in after backpacking in RMNP. In short, we should have spent one more night in the tent, sleeping on the ground! We spent $141.00 to stay in an "upgraded" room where the window a/c was placed under the drape! There was only one small window in which to let in fresh air. The other possible... More

Location was great, management very helpful. Estes Park is gorgeous! Got to sit on the balcony and watch a rain storm come in, which was cool. Room was very clean. A/C-heater needs to be serviced; decor antiquated and stuffed into a small room. On too busy a road to consider walking anywhere. Could deal with all those things, but the... More

Stayed here with three of my sons in August 2010. The room was tatty, all furniture was both dated AND beyond serviceable life. Mattresses too old and worn to give anyone a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a joke - a packet watery fruit drink and packed cakes. If you have any other options DO NOT STAY HERE. Chose a... More

For my family this motel was an excellent value. We went on vacation on a budget and did not waste a lot of money a motel. We spent most of our time out in the Rockies and in the town and just came in to sleep. The staff and owners were friendly and our room was clean. I am going... More

We come to Estes Park several times each year and always stay here. The owner is very friendly and always makes us feel at home. The rooms are always spotless and very comfortable. It is an older motel, as are most of the motels in Estes, but it is very well maintained. We really like the "grab and go" breakfast... More

We originally booked with the Tyroll Lodge but thought it was a better deal to come to the Big Horn Mountain Lodge as there are 3 queen beds and we have 3 children, 2 of them teenagers. That was great as well as knowing that the lodge was run by a Christian. However, the room was very old, stained carpet,... More

Probably that's not the best lodge in Estes Park but it is surely one of the cheapest. It is conveniently located on the highway arriving from Denver and offers a good vista on the surrounding peaks in the Rocky Mountains National Park. Rooms are very basic and bathroom has very old equipments, with the smallest washbasin ever! Breakfast is very... More

We had made plans for a family get together not realizing that it was the same weekend as a big event in Estes Park. This place was the only place in town that had rooms available. Guess that should have told us everything! The rooms are OVERpriced, the carpet is so old and dirty that I would not allow anyone... More

This is the 7th year that Bighorn Mountain Lodge has hosted our Motorcycle Bible Study group's "Rolling Retreat". The motel is an older facility that is rustic and clean. The management has been very accomodating to our group of 20-25. The facility has a community room that is used to host wedding receptions and events. We have been able to... More
