The grounds are beautiful -- fruit trees everywhere and an inviting looking pool and sauna. The rooms were most of what we needed: an accessible bath (with a bonus mic/fridge/coffee service). The only drawback was that we requested a cot with our online reservation -- and they told me when we arrived that it was against the firecode to give... More

Booked this last minute and not disapointed! 2 minute drive to 4th avenue and all the quirky independant shops, restaurants, pubs etc. it has to offer. Free drink every night of your stay during happy hour is a nice bonus but not required to inspire a good review. Staff are friendly and approachable. The rooms are well equipped and clean... More

I spend last night at the City Center Hotel, Tucson and must compliment them for the most comfortable mattress. My room was ready, air condition cooling very nice as it was getting summer warm, and no problem with parking. Had two-queen bed room and handicapped bathroom which I requested. Big screen HD tv was basic cable but fine, and room... More

I recently held a large community event at the Hotel Tucson. This was a major event with speakers, presenters, resource tables, activities and breakfast and lunch provided for over 350 attendees. Needless to say, there was a great deal to coordinate and manage. The hotel staff, especially the catering manager, were professional, accommodating, and extremely capable people. They treated my... This hotel has very comfortable rooms and is the best value for the price in Tucson. I have stayed there at least 5 times in the last 3-4 years and keep going back. The staff is most helpful. The happy hour is a nice touch and the breakfast in the morning is very good. Reading the free paper provided by... More

This place is awfully run down. Can't control the a/c and only blows on high keeping you awake. The room smells musty and carpet and furniture are awful.turned on the water for the shower and it ran rusty for at least a minute. Old tv with awful reception. Pool chairs and lounges are in awful condition. The only thing about... More

We stayed here because my friend reserved a block of rooms for his wedding. I read some mixed reviews here and they were right on. Some things were very good, while others were poor or unacceptable. It seems like the place is either going through very slow renovations or they ran out of money half way through. Our room was... More

We have stayed here annually over the past 10 years and have seen the facility improve in all areas. It is an older facility but is maintained well, clean, and is a beautiful refuge in the middle of a busy part of the city and Arizona desert. The staff is very accomodating and we have noticed that they are hard-working... More

Beware, this property is not what their web site shows in photos. We booked this hotel because we wanted a suite with a separate bedroom. When we arrived, they would not check us in early and told us to come back. When we did, we waited in line for 30 minutes, then the room they sent us to had the... More

We stayed here two nights in February, 2012. The room was nice but older. Very clean. The desk staff were very personable and helpful. We had problems getting on the internet in our first room and they moved us into the tower, which had better reception. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. The breakfast...
