My partner and I decided to drop in on his parents in Tucson for Mother's day at the last minute. I called the Inn on the Thursday before the weekend. The innkeeper, Jake, answered the phone and from that moment until the end of our stay the experience was first class. Every phase of our stay was well organized and... More

The wonderful time we spent at the Royal Elizabeth will definitely ensure a return visit. The house and gardens are truly spectacular and the central Tucson location is just great for walking into town for lunch or dinner, but definitely take advantage of the Liz's breakfast because it is not to be missed! We stayed at the Royal Liz to prep for and attend my son's wedding in Tucson, and we could not have had a more pleasant experience. Jake was incredibly helpful with parking, coordinating guest arrivals, and allowing us to take over the kitchen on friday morning to prep and assemble 250 assorted cupcakes, cream puffs, and dipped strawberries! I felt... More

For my son's 21st birthday I decided to visit him. I have been to many motels/hotels in my lifetime and decided to look up B&B. I connected with 3 of them but received a prompt answer (personal phonecall) only from the Royal Elizabeth. I had no idea what to expect and every day was better than the prior. The atmosphere:... Wonderful, clean, welcoming, historical, delicious and not to be missed. We loved our stay here, and thank Tucson for allowing this building to not be razed. The food is scrumptious, the host welcoming, the building magnificent and the surroundings quiet and comfortable. We highly recommend the Royal Elizabeth. More

We stayed at the Royal Elizabeth for two nights. The building itself is historic and lovingly restored - beautiful woodwork, high ceilings, tasteful furnishings - and feels like an oasis in an urban setting. The home is surrounded by walled gardens and has a small pool with a hot tub. It is in the heart of downtown Tucson which we... More

This is a lovely bed and breakfast offering peace and solitude in a delightful setting in a busy city close to entertainment and restaurants, so what more could you ask for?! Including a very pleasant young host and gourmet food. More

Everything about this b and b is exceptional; it is an historic building, walking distance to Tucson Music Hall and other performance venues. The walled garden area with pool and spa has palm trees, beautiful flowers, and privacy. At breakfast the accent is on gourmet and local foods and above all satisfying, rather than stuffing, you. The chef is imaginative... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Elizabeth! The B&B is just stunning - magnificent woodwork and a gorgeous fireplace. Our room was unbelievable - from the antique furniture to the extra deep bathtub - and we had our own back door out to the pool and hot tub! The food was exquisite! I had some special dietary needs... More
