I was recently in San Antonio for business and usually stay at the Riverwalk. I decide to give the suburbs a chance as wasnt up to all the touristy gimmicks. This was our first time at a Howard Johnson and the hotel was attractively done, the price was very nice and the breakfast being included was just amazing. We stayed 4 nights and each morning was eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, donuts, muffins, cereal, waffles, bagels ect. We ate in our jammies and got around nice and slow, no rush.

Staff is very friendly and helpful to a fault. Location is central to all of the local attractions. All of the aminities measure up to much higher priced motels in the area. Clean rooms, well lit parking and the hot breakfast is a bonus. I will be staying here again. Check it out.
