I was coming back from a bowl game at the downtown Alamodome which is about one mile away from this motel. I was stuck in heavy traffic and wasn't able to get into the hotel until about 1:30 in the morning. The staff was very helpful and accommodating even though we arrived so late.
As far as the room goes,...

I had to make a last minute trip to San Antonio, and wanted something cheap. I knew I would only be spending time in my room to sleep, as I would be having fun on the Riverwalk. I booked this online for $40 ($49 w/ tax), and wasn't expecting much. I was very pleasantly surprised. The neighborhood itself is not...

We stayed here several times now and were here again two weeks ago. Very nice and clean. Had done some improvements since our stay last year. Comfortable king size bed, refridgerator, microwave and coffee maker. Flat screen TV. Nice, new rocker recliner that was a plus!!! Complimentary breakfast included. (Even some of your chain motels don't offer this!!!) No pool,...

We needed a last minute hotel after SeaWorld and booked The Alamo Inn for it's price. Don't let that part of town or the outside of the building fool you, both the service and the room were great. We will definitely call again if we need a San Antonio hotel.

This hotel looks OK on paper. The reality is much different. Its dirty, run down, poorly managed, and a property to be avoided. It is touted as bei8ng close to the Riverwalk, with a free shuttle service. True enough. You can't wait to get of a a neiborhood with a bail bondsman business as a next door neighbor. Trust me...

We thought this room was a good price and we were not expecting anything out of the box. It had a fridge, microwave, a table with two chairs and a reclining chair which was a bonus. The king bed was extremely comfortable. The room was clean but really needed a spring clean. I cleaned the phone before I used it...

Booked on the internet, checked in, entered the room and left. Do I need to say more? At least I know that you cannot trust a room for under 40 dollars. Beat up, old furnitures. Not one single nite would I stay there. I know other low budget motels but this one was far the worst. And the front desk...

We (two single moms and four kids) booked two rooms before we left for a San Antonio zoo and family fun trip. The pictures looked nice and their were some decent reviews. We got their to find that it was in a questionable part of town and the rooms had bars on the windows. It was a filthy mess! NO...

The proprietor of the establishment was extremely helpful in everything I asked. I went up at least three times and each time there was no hint of aggravation and he was very helpful. The room was cozy and had an extra bed, for no extra cost for some reason. The room could have been just slightly cleaner but it was...
