We stayed here for the weekend, staff was amazing ! They were so welcoming & friendly since the beginning to the end . I definitely will be back to this hotel. It's comfortable as well . I highly recommend it.

“Quick visit to San Antonio”

I've never been to San Antonio before so this being my first trip in.. Really didn't know where to stay. I looked at several hotels and chose Howard Johnson. The pictures online make the hotel look great but honestly it's pretty run down. Overall the location is great and is fairly clean but the lock on my door hardly works... More

super nice hot breakfast was great! the staff did there best to correct any problems that arose. a heated pool would be nice and the hot tub turned on earler. but a solid value! the location was very accesable to get places.

Tony and crew at this particular Howard Johnson were absolutely amazing in their commitment to their customers. I have stayed in many hotels over the years, some considered to be 5 star, that were no where near the level of these folks. “Staff friendly, value ok it could be $10.00 less per day not even a three star motel”

Beds where comfortable right off the highway, not many tv channels pool ok hot tub broken, both ice machines down, and the vending machine broken.

Our stay was just WONDERFUL!! The room was super clean and very nice . The bed was comfy made me feel like I was at home. My husband & I got such a great nights rest we did not want to leave. can't believe this hotel has 3 1/2stars. From the service at reception (I don't think she wanted to be there) to the 50 year old towels in the bathroom ( you could practically see through them). The bathroom itself was appalling with loose floor tiles and moldy caulking. Breakfast also left much to be desired.Only CARBS and no HOT water... More
