This is the hotel my husband and I usually stay at when we are in Santa Fe as it is a very charming place. We are both in our 60s. However, the last time we were there, I had a very disconcerting experience at the wine and cheese gathering in the evening. My husband and I each had 2 glasses of... More

Every year we travel to Santa Fe to rest and enjoy our favorite US city. This year we took friends and decided to stay somewhere different. We chose the Inn on the Alameda and were thrilled with the results. The location near the Plaza is convenient. We only used our car once in 4 days. The facilities are beautiful with... More

Everything I expected. Charming, very "Santa Fe"! Beautiful buildings, rooms, and grounds; excellent staff. Very helpful and friendly. Although not right on the plaza, and in the middle of everything, it is an easy walk, just a couple of blocks. This makes for a quieter more relaxing stay. And the stroll to the Plaza is a very pretty, easy walk with the Santa... More

this hotel was tailored to more older folks. Not for a young party group. I just flew back tonight from my stay there, and I woild stay there again if I go back. I only have a few small complaints. Very small bathrooms, and no electrical outlets by the desk in my room. Yes I did bring my computer as... More

I absolutely loved this hotel. I was traveling with friends, and we requested (and received) adjoining rooms which made our trip even more pleasurable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, particular the beds and bedding made for restful sleep. As many other reviews have mentioned, the inclusion of a wine and cheese happy hour was not only nice for the... More

Book this hotel right now - don't look any further! The rooms are tucked all around the property which made our room private, yet it was still fun to find and visit everybody (we were travelling with a large family group). Ours had a fireplace which was wonderful- it was also a quiet sanctuary after busy days. Breakfasts are included... More

Booked 3 nights, May 2012, and added a fourth night because we liked it so much. Perfect location next to historical downtown and one block from the Canyon Drive art galleries. Never needed the car. Rooms are super clean, well soundproofed, and have luxurious linens. We stayed in a top (2nd) floor room with kiva gas fireplace, very romantic and... More

This was my sixth trip back to the Inn on the Alameda, and I can't imagine choosing any other place in Santa Fe. The location is ideal -- just an easy walk to the Plaza, Canyon Road, or any of the many wonderful restaurants in the area. The inn itself is attractive and welcoming, with roomy and comfortable rooms. On... More

Everything about my stay at this lovely Inn was delightful -- absolutely everything & every one!! Warm hospitality is clearly the guiding rule here -- and the restful lovely room and bath amenities were great. The morning breakfast buffet (included) was absolutely the BEST of any breakfast buffet I've experienced anywhere! To top it all off -- I wound up... More

Thanks so much for your kind words! Our GM, Debbie, has been a role model for service over the 12 years she has been here, and her gracious assistance to our guests is an integral part of our success. She shares that same level of warmth and understanding to our staff, which is why our employee tenure is so remarkable. More
