I attended a workshop here this past July. From the start there were problems that I observed with other guests and continued to be true for our group. The wedding party I observed was having problems in every area of this 'resort'...from food to seating for the wedding to lodging of their guests. Here are some of the problems our... More

We were quite disappointed by our two day stay at Sunrise Springs. We arrived at 3:30 pm on Christmas day and were told the restaurant - the only place nearby to eat - was closing at 4 pm. When we had made our reservations, we had been told the restaurant was closing 'early' at 6:30. It seemed that the staff... More

Our honeymoon was delayed by a few weeks while we got on with the business of business and then we had a weekend off! Quickly we searched for spa locations in Santa Fe and discovered the off season rates at Sunrise Springs. We had the place nearly to ourselves. Check in was a bit awkward, it was tricky getting someone... More

Stayed 2 nights & 3 days in a Casita. They allowed us early check-in and the Casita was relatively clean. However, the whole resort was rather rundown and shabby. Landscaping lights were burned out, paint peeling on buildings, very few staff members. The website promised luxury amenities with full spa services. The mattress was old with springs poking us. The... More

I've visited Sunrise Springs on three occasions over 10 years and my experiences have all been similar. First, this place is magical in some regards and the facility and surrounding gardens/landscaping provide a beautiful and relaxing place to unwind and spend some quality time by yourself or with someone you love. Its very quiet and serene. Its also very affordable... More

My husband and I took a family vacation from the Bay Area and stayed at this beautiful resort. On 70+ lush acres, there is nothing more you could ask for when vacationing. The grounds were absolutely impeccable! Breath taking views, native landscaping, koi ponds, water features, old and towering trees, meditation areas, fountains, sweeping gardens and grass areas, and most... More

Good location if you want the Santa Fe style, but prefer to stay in the country nearby. Had room with two doubles, beds were a bit firm for our taste, but probably passable for most. Grounds are nicely kept consistent with Santa Fe Style. (If you need to stay on paved surfaces, this is not your hotel). The continental breakfast... More

This grounds of this resort are extremely naturally beautiful and the overall atmosphere is extremely calming and relaxing. The rooms are outdated, but clean and comfortable. The reception staff was not the most helpful. I called for a crib for our infant son and was told they did not know if they had one. When I stated their website said they... More

We stayed here one night in July. It is not at all close to Santa Fe, so don't stay here if you want to stroll the plaza at night. It is definitely an odd location. The hotel is getting a bit rundown as it seems they don't have enough business to be able to afford to keep it up. That... More
