Full service hotel offering a variety of dining options. I had never slept on a Sleep Number bed and was asleep within 5 minutes of laying down. Room was basic but very clean. Improvement could be a better in room coffee service.

Once past the impressive lobby area I opened the door to an extremely mediocre room. The first thing I noticed was the odd odor (I'd call it great-grandma's house) and the spartan furnishings. The room, tucked into an odd corner of the building, was tremendously spacious. Despite this, the room was appointed with one queen bed, a desk and office... More

Wonderful change from the sterile new hotels. The historic property offers everything in a grande deluxe style of an era of the past. Enjoy the Cafe, Carmen's or Trax for your favorite food or beverage. This is a great location for a wedding, reception or social get together.

My husband and I spent one night in Scranton on a recent trip to Pennsylvania. We had made plans to stop at the Lackawanna Coal MIne tour that afternoon so this hotel was a perfect spot to spend the night afterwards. The hotel had its own ample parking which was a requirement . The room was also very reasonably priced.... More

My boyfriend is a steam train enthusiastic, I took him for his birthday to Steamtown in PA. I decided to stay at the Lackawanna Station Hotel since it was the original train station in Scranton. The hotel is beautiful, the architecture was amazing. We stayed on the 6th floor, the room was very pleasing, beds were comfortable and the hotel... More

This place is amazing. The building is huge (6 stories high) and imposing when you arrive. You can park right in front of hotel for only $5. When you enter the hotel the lobby is beautiful.
