I only saw one other choice that was even open.... However, the room I had was extremely nice, big, clean, comfortable - fireplace equipped. No mention of the small bar area or if even adult beverages were served - they are and fully equipped. Steak was great - other fare a little overcooked to my liking. Very pleasant experience.

We traveled there to eat for the first time with my family. What a nostolgic place. Service and the Steaks were out of this world. Great atmosphere! Yes it is a place to take your wallet as dinner is around 25 person or a little more, but it is worth every penny. We return again for sure love it!

Disappointing on every level, my “Sterling Steak” was average and not worth the price, my wife’s special Saturday night Prime Rib was an inedible portion of fat and gristle with very little meat, all made worse by the wait staff’s unprofessionalism and management’s apparent indifference.
After a few minutes trying to make the most of our Prime Rib, my wife...

Cottonwood Falls is a small quiet town in the Flint Hills of Kasas. The Grand Central Hotel is a really nice hotel. Although arriving early we were able to check in and were given a cup of deceent coffee, something you don't get very often in the States!
The highlight of this hotel is the food. Although it may seem...

This was a wedding anniversary trip and the Grand Central Hotel was recommended by friends. Unfortunately the hotel was a disappointment. First problem was our room. King size bed however it was right over the kitchen and the grill and the grill ventilator so all we heard was HUMHUMHUMHUMHUMHUM clear up to 10:45pm!!!! Big bucks we are paying and no...

Being a corporate pilot this is one of the best steaks I've ever experienced. I travel to many destinations. Previous comments regarding pricing of this hotel and restaurant would be of no consequence if patrons would research the internet. This is not a McDonald's type of restaurant regardless if it is the middle of Kansas. It is a first class...

We stayed here in June this year and I was definitely reluctant to pay NYC prices for a hotel room in the middle of the prairie in Kansas. But boy, were we rewarded for it!!! We ate dinner in the hotel's restaraunt, which is a destination throughout KS. The steak was the best we ate in KS, MO, and NE....

A very quaint hotel. Obviously not a town with much going on, but that's the point. We spent a few days roaming around the Flint Hill's and found this little place a nice oasis. The rooms are named after townspeople. It was a nice surprise to take a walk around town and find the house of our room's namesake.
We...

We spent a week there one day.
Now, it is best hotel in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, no doubt, but that says it all... there is NOTHING to see or do here. But get your wallet out, because nothing costs something, at the Grand Central.
Dinner: Steak, small potato, and a wilted salad - NOT PRICELESS.
Room: Yippee, Cowboy decor!!! Scratchy...
