This was our second stay at the Malbone House. So glad we returned. The owner/staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Breakfast is superb. Afternoon tea has the best treats we have ever had at a B and B. Moreover, the location is perfect. There is no other place I would stay other than the Francis Malbone House. More

For a quick, classy get-away, the Malbone House is the answer. Well appointed, impeccably neat and clean. The staff were warm, accommodating , and very knowledgeable. The "Afternoon Tea" is not to be missed. The location is excellent, within walking distance of everything. We will return. More

Mr Candido, Thank you for the nice compliments. Yes, next time you must stay longer so we can chat more!! Although the weather was dreary, you both always have "a glass half full" attitude! Regards, Will More

We went with another couple and stayed in the Stillhouse room. The Inn and the grounds are meticulously cared for. The service was excellent - we love Will! The breakfast and the afternoon tea was to die for. Everything we tasted was pure decadance. The location was great - plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend this... My husband and I just returned from our third stay at the Francis Malbone house. All three times we have stayed at the Benjamin Mason house (a property adjacent to the inn). We have stayed in both suites, but the Ben Mason is our favorite as we spent our wedding night there as well as this most recent stay. The... More

Thanks, Jen. So glad you got to experience the Mason House again with Lisa and your spouses. You all seemed like you were having a blast in your own little Newport house. If those walls could talk!! Great to see you again and thank you for introducing the inn to your friends. Have a great summer! Will More

We just returned home after a few days at the Francis Malbone House and I have to say that we are feeling a little sad -- as we wish we were still there! Too big to be called a BandB the Francis Malborne House is really a nice Inn with some 20 rooms fitted into an old mansion and its addition. There is a beautiful central courtyard with lush green grass and a fountain. Our room # C5 looked out onto and had a door to the courtyard from our sitting area. We... More
