Very good hotel, well positioned and reasonably priced. Good alfresco breakfast buffet and centrally located. Convenient for the trolley tours and right opposite the beach. Worth having an ocean view but expensive. Hawaii is a paradise and has to be seen. More

Having been to Honolulu before I knew what Waikiki was like. The Hyatt was in the middle of the shopping and restaurants on the strip. We had a rent car and explored the island every day and would only be at the hotel only in the evening. I was not happy about the resort fee and the parking fee but... More

We stayed at the Hyatt for 10 nights for our honeymoon this May. Overall, the hotel was very nice, with great facilities and lovely staff. However, there were a few things we were disappointed with. We had booked a city view room but when we walked in there was no view, only some scaffolding and decking with lots of litter... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Honolulu for three nights at the end of our five-week holiday in the US. We were very disappointed with the room and service. We booked a standard room and paid for an upgrade to an ocean view room with Regency Club access using points. This was confirmed by telephone prior to... More

Great hotel, excellent service. Loved the fact that we could get beach chairs for the beach complimentary at the pool, rather than have to pay $60/day for lounge chairs and an umbrella on the beach. Excellent location, clean hotel. However we were on the 31st floor and it did take quite a while for the elevators to go both up... More

I would agree with most of the comments. The hotel is located on the bustling main street of Waikiki and is almost like Las Vegas Blvd with all the traffic, people, and noise. I enjoyed it but if you like quiet, not the place for you. Check-in was speedy, efficient, and the clerk "Joe" was very nice and answered all... More

Having read a number of recent reviews of this hotel I would agree with most comments on both the pros and cons. Dated decor but large room and sea view makes up for it. It does lack a resort feel to it and the daily resort fee is a bit steep for what should be provided free of charge given... More

If you get this hotel on Hotwire for around $120 a night..great! We went during a union strike, was a mess it was. after some complaining about the noise they located our room to a quieter side - which happend to be right in front of waikiki beach! the strike was a 24/7 strike with loud instruments all night. pretty... Aloha, Thank you for the review. We do regret any interference the union demonstration had upon your vacation. We are glad that you were able to relocate to a better room further away from the noise. The daily fee of $35 valet, $30 self-parking fee is comparable to neighboring hotel rates but you are correct there are other locations if... More

We just got back from a four day vacation on the island of Oahu, stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki and the experience in general was good. It took us couple times around the blocks to realize the parking structure for Hyatt is not in the same building where the rooms and registration are. It's across the street. Although we... More

Aloha, Thank you for the review. We do regret that you had such unpleasant parking experiences. Your comments will be helpful to others.
