I recently stayed at the waikiki banyan hotel, PLEASE DON’T EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL... it started with a booking of two nights one month in advance. which by the way they debited out of my card right away. I was told thru booking on line that the remainder of the bill which was taxes will be collected upon check... More

We are a family of 4 so appreciated the room to move. It's a central position, close to everything you need in Waikiki. My one and only complaint is the bedding. I understand that some units are privately owned, however when you lay your head down at the end of a long day, a little comfort would be nice. The... More

My husband found us a room through VRBO. We were not actual "guests" of the hotel, we rented a room which was owned by a private party. needless to say, we were very pleased with our accommodations. The one draw back that I would like to mention for anyone traveling with a child and/or children is this: It was a... More

I will begin by saying that this hotel has both suites that they rent out and then a number of privately owned suites. We booked through KoKo resorts (a property management company) that manages a large number of privately owned suites. This review in reference to service and the quality of the condos we rented through Koko resorts. I can't... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Banyan. First of all, I cannot say more about how fantastic, friendly, and helpful the staff was. Our rooms were clean, nice, quiet, and we had a beautiful view on the 28th floor. Having a kitchen was a nice touch to making our own meals. I loved how close of a walk it... More

After staying our first week at the Aston Waikiki Beach we were pleasantly surprised with the Banyan. It exceeded our expectations and we were sorry we didnt stay here instead of the Aston Beach. You may not be on the beach, but you are very close by and the view was excellent as you also had a view of all... More

The Banyan is a large high-rise apartment style building in Waikiki. Everything is an easy walk in Waikiki, so unless paying premium rates to be right on the beach is important to you, there is a lot to like about staying at the Banyan. Three minute walk to the beach, five minutes tops to the Aquarium, Zoo, Waikiki Shell or... More

This was my 1st time in Hawaii and 4th for my parents. We wanted to stay in a place that had a seperate bedroom with a hide-a-bed and found the Aston Banyan. We stayed here at the end of Feb 2012 on the 37th floor of Tower 1 - It was very nice! Enjoyed the great views and the room... More
