This was our second stay at the Wave. We hit the summer rush and got a good deal for a partial ocean view room on an upper floor with a king bed (special $5 upgrade at the time). We recently spent a whole week at the wave and I must say, I went into it really nervous about the noise according to other reviews. Yes it was noisy, even at night. However it wasnt so noisy that it disturbed our sleep.

Waikiki Wave was very clean, the top floor room (as requested) was quiet and our housekeeper, Linda, kept our room in perfect order and helped us with some small requests. The day manager, Flora, was especially helpful and friendly, we met her at the Wednesday afternoon "Welcoming Party" where there was free entertainment, beverages, snacks, and a masseuse!

Beautiful location, great hotel, best holiday ever! We had a bit of a bargain with the hotel and were so pleased with it. Service was wonderful, but the lack of adequate parking facilities brought down the hotel rating. Was requested to park in an adjacent facility, but was turned away because it could not accommodate mini-vans. Very inconvenient. Location adjacent to the International Marketplace and all Waikiki attractions was perfect. Not a first rated hotel, but more of an economical/less frills hotel.
