Good price very close to the beach, nice clean rooms, friendly staff as well as free beach towel rental which was brilliant. Stayed in a twin room with huge twin beds which were almost the size of doubles. The room was more like a bedsit as there was a fully stocked kitchen with toaster, fridge, cooker and a little portable... More

Only stayed here one night to rest before heading off to check out the rest of Oahu. Check-in and parking was all very easy, as was finding the hotel from the airport. The room is a little out-dated and we found it weird that there was a coffee pot with filters but no coffee or sugar... Its really close to... More

The noise in my room was really incredible. I was expecting noise, having read the reviews, but not this. I don't know what it was exactly, it seemed to come from the ABC store close by (their A/C?) and then there was the already described vacuum cleaner of the car rental firm as well as the street noise. I had... More

This small hotel is outdated, but clean and a perfect location. I have stayed here once before a few years back and it is always a great stay. Unlike the larger tourist hotels around, you don't have to sit around and wait to check in or to use the elevators. This hotel is very small and no waiting for the... More

I stayed here for three nights and was very satisfied. The room was quite spartan and dated but very clean. Given the price and location, you can't go wrong. Reception was fine and the walk to the beach takes about 2 minutes. There is some street noise but you can turn on the fan for the air conditioner to cover... More

When we go to someplace like Hawaii, we want to spend time other than in our hotel room. This was a great hotel if your goal is like ours. There was a great little refrigerator, the bed was comfortable, TV worked fine, little balcony was nice to have. There was some street noise, but we were in downtown Honolulu, so... More

First off, at this price you should not expect 4 star luxury. But you will still be in Hawaii and only minutes from the beautiful Waikiki Beach. If you want to venture out on tours you can always catch a coach or shuttle at any nearby hotel. Good: location, price, staff really tries hard, room clean if dated Bad: location... More

I read some of the other reviews. While they were probably accurate, I have to say that it depends on your expectations for that price. You expect no street noise, and room service at your finger tips, you probably want a higher end hotel many floors above the street. I personally loved it there. Did I wake up a little... More

The Good: location to the beach, clean room, staff. The Bad: There is a Harley/car hire business right next door. Be prepared to hear their industrial vacuum cleaner every morning and garbage trucks at 5 am on Tuesdays and Fridays. No room service at all unless you stay one week or more. Beds definitely need replacing unless you like a... More

My first visit to Hawaii. I was on my way to Maui to visit a friend but wanted to spend a couple of nights in Waikiki before I arrived in Maui. Who knows when I will get back there again? Thanks to Trip Advisor reviews I picked out this hotel/lodge as being an inexpensive place to stay on my way... More
