I booked this room off Priceline. I checked in and the door wouldn’t close and it smelled horrible. They gave us another room after my husband complained. Go to the new room and there were bed bugs. I called Priceline and got my money back.

I stayed at America’s Best Value in Vicksburg, MS on 12/22/19. It was a very sad experience. I had paid through a hotel app but they could not find my payment or receipt. I showed it to the lady at the desk and they were good to give me a room. When I opened the door, I saw that the sleeper couch was partly unfolded, and the cushions were on the floor. There was plastic trash on the sink counter. The toilet seat had brown drops on it. There was liquid on the side table by the bed. There were two ladybugs and a moth in the bed. I was so exhausted from a long trip, I didn’t call the office. I did not have much confidence in them at that point. I cleaned the table, sink counter and toilet seat. I put the couch back together. Then, I laid on the top of the bed, fully clothed and went to sleep. I had decided to pass on a shower. The towels and wash cloths were all neat and seemed clean. The bed smelled clean but the bugs made me decided to keep my clothes on. The next morning, I went to the office to see if their offer of a “free breakfast” was true. It was 6:50 a.m. on a Monday morning. The office doors were locked and the breakfast area did not have anything there. It looked the same as the night before. I slid my key card in the slot on the outside and left. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Responded 30 Dec 2019
It has always been our aim to deliver a clean, comfortable, and convenient stay for all of our guests, and hearing your account disappoints us. Rest assured that we're closely working with our housekeeping team to ensure that our goal is fully realized and these kinds of situations do not happen again. We know we can do better and would welcome the opportunity to demonstrate it.

Stayed here after a bad trip at Day's Inn. Room was nice and affordable, 290/wk. Staff is very friendly. However while unloading my luggage from truck I witnessed 3 drug deals in parking lot. I only stayed that night and decided I was better off to spend the extra money on a hotel that would offer better "neighbors". If they would clean out the bad clientele it would be a really nice place to stay.

Floors dirty, wires hanging in bathroom, no towels, no air, no ashtrays. This was a last minute, last resort room rental because Ameristar Hotel would not accept debit cards for the $50 room deposit. All nearby hotels were booked. Please plan ahead to secure any other hotel other then this one. No one answers calls to the office or the 888#. I went to the office to ask for towels and ashtray and was treated ever rudely as if I didn't deserve to receive any. Wifi secured, but when asked for the password, the office attendant became extremely irritated. The man renting a room ahead of me was in the office for his 4th room change request because of the room's conditions! WORSE HOTEL EVER!

Checked into the room at 11:56PM. Wasn't in the room for an hour. When I pulled the sheets back to find yellow and black stains all over the sheets. Hair on the pillow and the sheets. The blankets had stains on it. And the remote control was broken up. I went to the front desk and asked for my money back. He acted as if he didn't understand what I was saying. Then he points at the clock and told me I had been in the room for a hour and that I couldn't get my money back. Which the clock on the wall had 1220am. He ended up giving me another room which had the same problems as the first room. I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel. If it's your last resort. Sleep in your car. And kids should not be working the front desk.

You can tell this place has been taken over by new management. The rooms where clean and the beds were new. All the sheets and bedspread look new. Was pleasantly surprised after the reviews I read. The management was very nice and helpful. They still have a few things to finsih but are minor things. Will stay there again when I return through Vicksburg.

Drive away!! This was a late night last option stop. We left with bed bug bites!!! The room had bed bugs, hair in the sheets, and mold in the shower. The door keys do not work so they had to use a master key to let their guests in, every time they need to re enter the room. The children worked the front desk. Continental breakfast was frozen pastries. When we talked to the manager, all we got was "I don't know" or "no". Any money saved was spent on bed bug treatments. Ruined our family trip.

We called this hotel about 11pm knowing we would be in Vicksburg about midnight. The gentleman that answered the phone was nice and said they had a king bed room available. We asked him to hold it for us and when we got there it wasn't a problem. The room was large and the king size bed was actually very comfy. Next time we drive to the coast we will probably stay here again. It was a nice hotel for a small price. We got some sleep and left first thing in the morning.

!! READ THIS OR BE SORRY !! I spent at night at this hole 185 Warrenton RD. Vicksburg, MS that should be closed for the utmost in unsanitary conditions. It started with me having 3 persons in my party and only having enough towels for 2,1 bar of soap and 2 cups. But that was the best part. Upon further inspection I found I actually had a party of about 600,000 (ladybugs and cockroaches). I started looking a little further and found Black Widow spider eggs and (1) Widow in the valance above the front window. The place looked like it had not been vacuumed properly in months or dusted in years. There was mold in the bathroom on every surface and the place was in sad disrepair. I would have left but it was late I was tired and cold. But never again do i go into a room without checking it out first. BEWARE!!
