If you stay outside the park, you will drive for at least an hour to get into the Yosemite Valley, making the Lodge At The Falls worth the money. Where else can you walk out of a lodge room and stare at Yosemite Falls? The rooms are a little dated but clean. The food at the cafeteria was pretty good and a little pricey, but there are not many choices without driving an hour. We ate three meals a day there from April 29-May 1. More

The lodge is old and needs renovation, room was not too clean and there was no organization in the preparation of food or service in the restaurant. The location however is great with the falls just behind the lodge. More
