“Probably the best hotel in Sao Tome,”

We spent 5 nights after Easter and got 3 sunny days and 2 tropical storms, which were refreshing. The staff did their best in difficult circunstancrs, as everything has to be taken onto the boat by island. Rooms clean and large. “Beautiful place with Very Bad service”

The sight is perfect but...all the rest is not good at all! The Hotel is very old and it needs to be...rebuild! The personnel is very kind but slowwww.... “It has a greater potential than it is currently proposing”

To the hotel: Only by boat. Hotel can arrange A/R from the airport for 25Eur/per person = small old mini bus+boat (charming, kind of authentic...takes hours to get there). We have noted "boat taxis" also from Porto Alegre, not sure on the price/safety. Island: beautiful natural setting, rather wild. Not many people therefore very quiet, nice empty beaches. “Super duper BAD for the locals in São Tomé. The biggest BAD-hotel ever!”

The hotel destroys everything in its surrounding. They make artificial roads thrue the whole island. They write in the "welcoming guide" that U should NOT eat local food (so U can eat the bad restaurant-food), they write that U onlyshould go with boats from the hotel because the locals boats are bad...
