The kids loved it. Great pools, nice beach, very relaxed and friendly resort with plenty to do. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and extremely helpful. My only criticism is that everything in the resort is overpriced, and it's too far to walk to the nearest town to buy supplies.

Disappointed with our stay at the Shangri-La. The place was OVERRIDDEN by kids. We're not children haters or the type that avoid resorts with children. Went there in 2006 on honeymoon. Beautifully decorated, perfectly located, excellent service, lovely private beach, great food, great rooms.....bulla!!!!! Getting there from the airport is a pleasant drive and you're literally spoilt from the momentous arrive.
