The Colonial Motel was decent and clean, but the place could use some updating. It was near a shopping center which was convenient. We only stayed one night, opting to find a nicer place for our second night.

these units are large and this is 2nd time here and we have unt 1 by the road which is not noisy at all as we are talking sleepy twizel at night,they are very clean and well appointed the hosts are very friendly,these motels are right in at the shopping centre so can walk if want

The walls between units were a little thin, so hope that you don't have a noisy neighbour! But otherwise a good motel with a full cooker and good facilities. Spacious, very soft bed and friendly host.

Spent a night here on our way north. One of the best medium priced motels we've used, modern, warm and well appointed. Our room was next to the street, but was still quiet at night. Good parking right by the door. Close to the centre of town with a supermarket and several cafes and restaurants just 5 minute's walk away.... More

We arrived for a one night stopover after a long, cold day to a friendly welcome and a large warm room with a clean kitchen. We were very comfortable, with 2 supermarkets and several eating options nearby. We would have no hesitation in returning.

Paid cash upfront for 2 nights but when plans changed the following morning we called front desk by 9:15 AM to inform in time to release room for new bookings. This was at a time and location when area rooms were booked out and within hours the motel showed no vacancy sign indicating they had indeed rented out the room.... More

We stayed one night her on the way to Mount Cook. We got the last room which was a family unit so we had plenty of room. The unit was very well equipped, clean, quiet, warm and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
