This was a comfortable motel, with good facilities including a swimming pool and washing facilities. The staff were very helpful. It was just near to the town centre and also close to puzzling world so a good location to explore these attractions. It was also near an unusal cinema where the seats are sofas and a car! More

Stopped in here on a whim to see if they had a 2 room unit. They did - it was huge - a palace, and a very good price. On a warm day the pool was appreciated by the family as well. This place was great. More

During our 3 week tour of New Zealand this was the only motel that didn't meet/exceed our expectations. Wanaka was very busy due to the Agricultural Show and we witnessed staff being very casual and offhand with other people looking for rooms. Unit was basic with a tiny outdated kitchen. Glad only there for one night. More

Great choice -- Really good sized rooms and good value. Friendly staff and the continental breakfast was a bonus. Would certainly use again. Just a short walk to town centre, with just enough time to take in the magnificent mountain ranges and the lake. The autumn colours were beautiful. More

Very friendly owner. Room quite dated but spotlessly clean. Has hotplate, utensils crockery etc. A little noisy as it is on the state highway. Water pressure in our shower was non existent. Took wife an aeon to wash her hair! About 1 hr from Queenstown or 4 hrs from franz josef. Suitable for a one night stop over. More
