I and my wife had an excellent stay at Blue bay as part of our honey moon this April. Everything was well arranged and we had a stress free and awesome honeymoon, thanks to the sales team (William and George). We appreciated every bit of it, from the airport transfers, friendly and welcoming staff members to the clean swimming pool... More

We arrived at the Bluebay after a 7 night safari in the Serengeti, we had booked a club room but on arrival we were informed we were in a junior suite. The club rooms and the facilities were closed, after a consultation with the management we came to an amicable agreement and went on to thoroughly enjoy our stay.Staff were friendly and... We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the resort, we had a wonderful 2 weeks. The staff and management went out of their way to ensure that they accomodated us with a high level of service, even down to chilling glasses for our "cold" drinks!. The room staff were wonderful, we wondered what sculptures would greet us... More

Staff are not fully trained, rooms are dirty and they don't have bed sheets to change daily.Room floors are wiped once a week and the drinks are very pricey. For vegetarians the food is very limited. I don't think this is a child friendly hotel in terms of meals.Reception is not friendly once you complain about anything to them. I think... More

After a safari in Kenya, we spent a week at Bluebay and were overwhelmed by the friendliness that the staff showed us and the high level of service of the hotel. And the food! We sampled all restaurants that Bluebay and its sister hotel has to offer and also tried a specially catered seafood dinner set up at a private... More

Very expensive. People at the front desk don't know how to smile. Food is not so good! We don't go to Zanzibar to get Italian buffet! The only good thing is the beach restaurant. Select a Villa, they are very nice with outdoor showers. More

We had a lovely relax here after our safari in kenya which was amazing, only to be totally lied to at the airport by precision air! Arrived with 3 hours to spare. The flight was delayed and was the last one. Still had plenty of time if we went on the information given only when it did arrive they put... More

We arrived here for a four night stay after doing an Elewana Sky safari where we had wonderful accommodation and service and were appalled by the comparison. When we entered our room on day one our air conditioning was broken and we were told that we could not change rooms. No, we could wait outside in the blistering heat on... More

My wife and I had 2 nights here in mid January 2012 and were very impressed with the hotel. Our villa was superb with a very large air-conditioned room and en-suite with a wonderful view to the beach and reef beyond. A huge comfy bed with mosquito net and all spotlessly clean. We had a problem with some bathroom plumbing... More
