Stayed here for one night. Rooms and hotel itself are very nice and have authentic feel of Portuguese pousada. All our rooms had balcony with a great view of the surrounding area. Hotel has excellent restaurant which must be visited. We had one of the best dinner here during our vacation in Portugal!

Breathtaking beauty! No other hotel boasts such inviting common areas! The building, the passages, the views, the huge rooms! Maybe the faucets are not the latest technology, but they work perfectly! The hotel is built in a former convent. The common areas are beautifully decorated and the entire hotel is very well conditioned. The rooms are huge, but need a little maintenance. The worst part was the noise coming from the air conditioning of the hostel that ended only when switched off at 23.30.

We had a wonderful experience staying recently at this Pousada. It is a new building around the remnants of an old convent. It is amazingly stylish but done in a most understated way. The ambience is fantastic. The old chapel is a lounge, the cloisters an external sitting area. The rooms are large and in fact are more like suites.... More
