This is a really, really great place to stay. Absolutely first class food, and extremely comfortable room. Everything is a very high standard throughout, just as the other reviews say. Because it is an old house with high ceilings, it is worth taking warm clothes in the winter, though, despite the wood fires. More

The finest pink venison we have ever tasted with a delicious sauce and succulent vegetables complemented by an excellent Vaqureas. This was haute cuisine in totally relaxed surroundings at bargain price. We would drive there just for dinner - and we live east of Birmingham. More
