Attention to detail in the every aspect of the business is obvious.
We stayed for three nights and the breakfasts and dinners was delicious

Really lovely accomodation, and a very warm welcome, more like a personal hotel than a B&B. A little bit of unexpected luxury in a rural setting. Dinner was lovely, very cosy in front of a roaring fire, and you can't beat Aga toast for breakfast!!

We had read the reviews and this delightful gem didn't disappoint. We had two rooms and both were immaculate and very comfortable. The rooms are tastefully decorated and stocked with lovely toiletries. The food is genuinely excellent and Tim sources the ingredients locally. Our intention had been to eat elsewhere after the first night but as the food was so...

This is a really, really great place to stay. Absolutely first class food, and extremely comfortable room. Everything is a very high standard throughout, just as the other reviews say. The other reviews are all you need, except that we have to comment on dinner. The finest pink venison we have ever tasted with a delicious sauce and succulent vegetables complemented by an excellent Vaqureas. This was haute cuisine in totally relaxed surroundings at bargain price.
We would drive there just for dinner - and we live east of Birmingham.

Enjoyed a weekend break here and was delighted with our room. We were made very welcome on our arrival and enjoyed some tea and home made cake in the very comfortable lounge. Our bedroom was large and the en suite bathroom of almost equal size.
The bed linen was of high quality and the view, whilst on the road side...

Tim and Helen Withers moved here after building up a huge reputation for top class eating at the George and Dragon near Devizes in Wiltshire. They've set up The Old Vicarage with much sensitivity, so that it still feels like a comfortable country residence. The setting is quite high up, with gorgeous panoramic views across Welsh hill farms, dotted with...

Comfortable bed, attention to detail and all very well thought out. Healthy food and all organically grown, incl in their own garden. Dinner was wonderful and not rushed. Drinks licence which is handy...
