I stayed here one night during a group tour... no one got a good night's sleep. My room was the only one out of 10 where both the air conditioning and the hot water worked but the air conditioning was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep without earplugs. Our group was bumped out of Hotel Soroa so that was a bad start compounded by many having to change rooms - terrible drain smells, locks not working and the inevitable Cuban plumbing problems. It is a wonderfully beautiful area and pool but the adjoining road is noisy unless you keep the aircon on to obliterate it. As for the... More

“Pleasant stay with GAP Adventures”

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a GAP Adventures week-long tour of western Cuba. The hotel is located far enough outside Pinar del Rio city that if you don't have your own transportation you are stuck there. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though.
