These impeccable grounds are reason enough to return. This wonderful little hotel has been lovingly restored by hotel professional Harold and his lovely wife. Their food is outstanding and a great bit of luxury in an otherwise not so well tourist-supported (but lovely) town of Izamal. We would not have stayed anywhere else. Muchas gracias.

An oasis! We loved it! Izamal has a magical "World Heritage" feel to it, and staying in the yard of an Old Hacienda converted horse stable was simply icing on the cake! We will definitely be staying here when we come through the area again. It was a great "pit-stop" between Merida and Cancun.

Although Trip Advisor rated this hotel as tops, I was still amazed. One reason may have been the contradictions. Our room was a converted horse stall in a converted barn.
