Casa Colina is a really great place to stay! The house is built with a great eye for open space and with love for details. The view from all 4 rooms is amazing. It is a very good place to relax - especially in the semi-outdoor lounge area. The house is up the hill a few hundred feet from the main... More

I had a wonderful five days in "the house at the hill" with its nice architecture. Simple, but still very functional, as it should be close to the nature. I couldn't have had a better place to stay. Exactly what I wanted! Waking up, having a good, european style, coffee in the hammock and listening to the sounds of nature... More

Casa Colina was a great place to stay for a week. The open design is very unique and the view from the huge double window in our room was amazing. Our upstairs room was a perfect place to enjoy the scenery and sounds of the beach any time of day. There was plenty of space to make meals, play games... More

Casa Colina is a clean, nice and central place to spend the night! Only 3 minutes to walk to the beach, and still away from a dusty summer road. The owner Ariana is great and will help you to make your stay the best as possible!

In Casa Colina I spent amazing times, i stayed for about two months and got to know a lot of interesting people because it has the character of a flat share. still there is way enough space for privacy, rest and relaxation. I have stayed at Casa Colina and love many things about it. It is a beautiful, clean respit that sits just above the main Road in Playa Carmen between St. Teresa and Mal Pais. The rooms are clean and simplw with a beautiful view of the ocean. There is a beautiful rustic open kitchen/ living "room" area that is really... More

Spent three days at the beautiful Casa Colina in Santa Teresa. A clean, spacious and stylish house with four rooms for rent. Just three minutes away from the beach, but just far enough uphill from the dusty mainroad of Santa Teresa. Owner Ariana, originally from Germany, but more then 20 years in Costa Rica now, makes you feel at home... More

Came to Casa Colina on a school adventure with 12 other students ..what a great experience. Everyone at Casa Colina was helpful, friendly, and could always point us in the right direction to have a good time. Great views especially from the top corner west bedroom, hint if you can claim that first you'll wake up every morning the happiest... More

Loved the view from our room--out to the ocean across the tops of the trees. Great location close to town and the beach (no need for a car) Could hear and see monkeys and tropical birds. Breakfast was wonderful. Fruit, great coffee and very tasty every meal. Great spot for couples looking to enjoy St. Theresa and Mal Pais beaches.

Ariana & Dave are the greatest of hosts. They remind me of what vacation should be: stress free and fun. My brother and I stayed here on the recommendation of other family members and I will return soon to my favorite place in the Americas. Breakfast was wonderful and the little cafe at the bottom of the hill suited our... More
