Family-owned and run Liani Hotel came as quite a surprise to my two colleagues and me: Clean throughout, friendly service, bathrooms with tub showers absolutely equal in size, quality and cleanliness to 4-star properties in London's Westend at one tenth their price, comfortable beds and enough room and closet space to make a 2-night business trip a pleasant stay.

We stayed here for two nights, hotel is new, inexpensive, and well maintained. The hotel is family owned, and both the owner and his daughter were more than willing to sit down and answer our questions about the current state of Bulgaria. The restaurant was good, with the standard bulgarian menu.
A very smart hotel run by a lovely, caring family who look after their guests with that personal touch. Excellent value for money for such a modern hotel and the restaurant is a home from home with delicious local dishes. A good singing duo in the evenings just makes that meal all the more relaxing. Highly recommended.
