Well, you get what you pay for. And here, that's a very cheap room on a very expensive island. I booked a private room with balcony based on the hotel description, which is a little misleading. The "view" is not the famous caldera view, but rather a distant view of the ocean on the other side of the island looking... More

We stayed here for eleven nights and could not believe how lucky we were. The Hotel is close to town, bus stop close by, and the caldera is within walking distance. Maria welcomes you with a beautiful smile at breakfast (typically European) and offers suggestions should you have any queries. We had a great time and loved our stay in... More

We stayed in the triple room for 3 days and extended for another 3 as it was such great value. I strongly recommend you pay the extra few Euro for this room (#18), it is double the size of the normal room and has a huge private balcony. The shower is a bit small & could do without the 5cm... More

When we arrived, Maria was there to greet us with her lovely smile. She gave us the biggest room with a private courtyard for our own use. The furnishings were dated but everything was spotless! We found the bed comfortable and slept well during our stay there. Maria and her family were always attentive, so pleasant to deal with and... More

We stayed at Villa Fotini for 5 nights: Aug. 31- Sep. 4. The price was 70 euros for the first night as it was still considered the High Season, and then 35 euros each night thereafter. We loved our stay! I never caught the name of the man who worked there, but he was waiting for us at the port... More

When we got off the ferry there was a gentleman there waiting for us even though our ferry was extremly late. The rooms were great and the staff was extremly helpful. Breakfast was a simple greek one which included coffee, juice, breads and cheese. To our surprise our rate was 10 euros less then what quoted when we booked so... More

My coworker/friend and I lucked out when BlueStar travel booked us with Villa Fotini. They picked us up at the ferry dock and transported us to the hotel in Firostefani. It was only about 2 or 3 euros more. When we got there we were given our room, which turned out to be big enough for for with an extra... More

Villa Fotini was booked as part of a package tour and i was pleasantly surprised. Quiet location with outstanding views. Bus stop right outside and a short walk down the hill to Fira with its cafes and shops galore. Maria speaks good English and was very helpful. Breakfast here was the best I had in all of my travelling in... More
