We stayed four nights in this B&B as it was recommended by a friend and boy are we glad we did so! This place is fabulous, our room was very clean, comfortable and we had a private terrace with the most amazing sea view. But above all I have to mention the way that Antonio, Rosa and Daniella took care... More

We stayed for 3 nights at this place. It was a recommandation of a friend of us who stayed 6 nights few years ago. It's a little family-run business. They all are very kind and helpful people, every morning at breakfast time they would give us good advices to plan our day. The rooms are decent, very clean, with aircon.... More

This is a really nice place to stay for a couple of nights. Friendly hosts, always available, giving you good advice. Spacious, adequate rooms. Nice breakfast (but no more home made jams these days) with beautiful view over the sea. Furore is not that interesting to say the least, but surely away from the crowds. Count at least half an... We spent 10 days at the Il Rifugio di Ela and we loved every minute of it. It is a family run b&b, Rosa, Antonio, Daniela and Anna really are amazing. Our room was beautiful, so clean! It had a king size bed, air-conditioning, small fridge, large bathroom and best of all an ocean view, couldn't fault it. It's 6*... More

Clean! Wonderful breakfast. Owner/family was so incredibly helpful. Not a very touristy town, but I liked that part. Must stay. If we go back to the area again we will definately stay again.

I think the attitude of the hosts can make or break a B&B - here, our hosts were extremely nice and helpful. We received a local delicacy (a type of pastry) with our breakfast, apart from a croissant, and were also asked if we would like some bread, ham, or cheese. I asked for tea in the evening for a... Staying in Furore requires a little work, but if you want to get away from crowds, save some money, and enjoy the Amalfi coast this is an ideal place. Situated nicely between Amalfi and Positano Il Refugio de Ela has kept me coming back The hosts are warm and hospitable without being hokey...I think it must be an Italian thing,... More

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms are very clean, breakfast was great, nice location but best of all "the service" and warm atmosphere. They are a family that looks after things and treat you like family. Carried our bags on arrival and departure and where always there to help for anything. We didnt have a rental car so... More

We stayed 5 nights in the Consuela room at the beginning of July and had a wonderful time. The room was very clean and had everything we needed - and even a large terrace with beautiful view overlooking the sea. We also had free parking in the lot right in front of the hotel. The father, mother and two daughters... More

My boyfriend and I had an AMAZING time in Furore when we visited and this place was incredible. The family is amazing: so kind, gracious, and slow-speaking (which was an added bonus for a beginner Italian-speaker). The breakfasts were superb, the room was amazing, and this place left us feeling all warm and fuzzy. If you can, go to the... More
