I stayed here for 3 nights on a week's trip to Scotland with my parents, who were visiting from Australia, and have to say this place will stay in my memory a long time. Spean Lodge is just a stunningly beautiful place. I stayed with my parents in the very spacious and gorgeous family room- and for someone in their... More

A wonderful stay in splendid surroundings and very comfortable accommodation. The charming owners, Glen and Suzanne are diligent in their quest to provide all of their guests with one of the best welcomes in the highlands. Great breakfast and fabulous coffee, large comfy bedrooms, lovely garden and large, comfy public lounge for the guests. Nothing seems too much trouble for... More

This is a brilliant B&B and we throughly enjoyed our stay. We only stayed for one night as we used this as a stopover as we travelled further north. We would definitely consider returning and staying for longer to explore the area. Glen and Suzanne are both excellent hosts. They were very helpful in recommending local restaurants and places of... We just loved our stay at Spean Lodge. Glen & Suzanne gave us a suberb welcome and served us tea & yummy brownie as we arrived before 5pm. This was served in the huge lounge at the large bay window with lovely views of the large pretty grounds & garden. The large house sits in the village and has been... More

Spean Lodge is a short easy walk from Spean Bridge train station on the West Highland Scotrail route. The house is spacious, and lovingly restored, decorated and furnished in period style. Glen keeps a fire going from late afternoons in the large guest parlor, where newcomers are greeted with a fresh pot of tea and yummy cake or scones baked... More

I couldn't agree more with all of the outstanding reviews of Spean Lodge. From our lovely hosts, Glen and Suzanne, who were helpful in every way, to the exqusite breakfasts, to the charming home and its surroundings ... it made our Highlands experience an outstanding one. Glen is a wealth of information and went out of his way to help... More

At the end of a l-o-n-g day it was wonderful to arrive and be welcomed, quite late in the day, with a pot of tea and a fresh scone. Beautifully and sensitively restored. Wonderfully comfortable room overnight and then a great breakfast set me up for the day. It's just past 5pm now and I haven't felt hungry yet. Must... More

What a lovely place. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The house is stunning and the rooms very comfortable with all the amenities you require. The breakfast was delicious with local produce and all fresh and cooked to order. Glen and Suzanne were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble and Suzanne even made us... More

Glen & Suzanne are lovely hosts & couldn't do enough to help. Beautiful guests' lounge where Glen insisted on lighting a lovely roaring fire, although we were the only guests. Comfy double bedroom with all mod cons, including new shower room. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Glad I found this thanks to the previous reviews.

Thanks to Glen and Suzanne we had a fabulous time in the Highlands area. Their local knowledge and hospitality allowed us to relax fully and enjoy every part of our holiday... The lodge is stunning and you cannot beat a piece of homemade cranberry shortbread with a cup of tea in front of the open fireplace! Fantastic all over!!!
