Booked for 1 night at a room cost of £52.00. We were in the annexe Room 12. Parking right outside with own entrance. This was ideal as we had our two pooches with us as usual. Spacious clean room with comfy bed. The hotel is renowned for it's Fish & Chips which we have had in the past as a... More

A last minute booking for a weekend trip to Fort William and area, booked direct with the hotel and got a better deal than on line. Huge family room in the main building that was clean, warm and quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful, especially the man who serves the breakfast ,who, despite us coming down too late for... Arrived at 8.20pm with advance reservation having travelled for 3 hours. Told on arrival restaurant had closed 20 mins earlier and no food available. We explained our daughter needed to eat before bed, not even a sandwich or bowl of soup/yoghurt was offered. Nothing. Arrived for breakfast at 8.50, as chef announced loudly to another member of staff he was... More

I have stayed here with my wife and two young children. Very compact, but fit for purpose. Since it was summer, difficult to say about heating facilities and how it will feel in cold climate (only one electric heater in the room). Staff are really very helpful and you can park your car right outside your chalet. The shower system... More

Embarrassed in front of Foreign friends, to stay in a hotel where hot water needed to be turned on before showering/bathing an hour in advance, wallpaper was falling off the bathroom ceiling, crisp packets and rubbish uner the bed., thin partition walls meant neighbours could hear everything (!), no included breakfast despite dear room rates..and it was expensive too! The... More

Stayed here en route to Inverness. The family room was actually a chalet / shed with windows at the back of the hotel. There was plenty of room for 4 of us in a room which was lined with wood, had wooden beds and wooden furniture. The flooring was wood laminate. The door to the room was a French door... More

Anyone looking like a walker is herded into the public bar and then ignored. My friend (72) and I (55) were walking the Great Glen Way, from Inverness to Fort William. On the last night of what had been a most satisfying journey, we went into the Spean Bridge Hotel for a drink and a meal. From reception we followed... More

With exception of the kitchen staff the staff was not that friendly. We did not have the feeling of being welcome to this hotel at all. The room was ok but nothing special. Because the window was wide open when we came to the hotel, it was really cold inside the room. And even as we did not left the... More
