We booked into the restaurant for my wife's 50th birthday and could 't have asked for a better setting. The service was perfectly pitched, warm, polite and unobtrusive and the food was of an extremely good standard and well worth the £50 per head for the 5 course meal. Thoroughly recommended!

We stayed here for the Jubilee long weekend in June with our two young children aged 2 and 3 and our parents. While there was nothing out of the ordinary provided for the children I would recommend it as a place that accommodates them well because the management are just so wonderfully understanding. It seemed that nothing was too much... More

This is amazing, when you walk in it has a hunting lodge feel to it and you are made to feel very welcome. We got lost and were over half an hour late for dinner but nothing was too much bother we got shown to our bedroom where although we didnt have a Loch view the bedroom window overlooked the garden... The room with a view of the loch was technically true however the view was predominantly of a pair of pine trees, fine if that is what had been booked. The communal areas were very tired and it wasn't the cleanest. There was an overpowering air freshener sprayed relentlessly, possibly lavender or lily of the valley. The spray in conjunction... More

First, the restaurant. One would be hard pressed to exceed the quality of the meal combined with the spectacular view from the nearly all glass walls facing west and south looking along the Loch and its adjoining mountains. The food is simply spectacular and the view before, during and after sunset is unbeatable. The family which runs the place (mom... More

Our family with teens spent a week in Scotland. We wanted to stay 2 nights near the Loch Ness attractions but because of the Scottish Open this (about 40 mins away) was as close as our travel agent could find. She booked what we all thought would be a suite called the "family room" but what we got for a... More

The biggest praise I can give Corriegour is that I'm well above average in the fussy/critical stakes yet have probably made 10 visits here over the last 13 years, the last being in May 12. Service? Tick. Food? Tick. Rooms? Tick. Views? Tick. Visiting here is like getting a big hug from your favourite aunt!

I stayed in a ground floor double room at a single, walk-in rate of GBP85.50. My rate included a three course evening meal and breakfast. This was my 53rd hotel on a 9 month trip. Overall a comfortable one-night stay at a reasonable rate for a single person, although I’d consider it over-priced for two. What’s good: The hotel was... More

We stayed here 4 nights during our walking trip from Fort William to Inverness. Originally we booked for 3 nights but added on an extra night because we loved it so. It's that good. Do yourself a favor like we did and make Corriegour your base in the Highlands. From here we explored Fort William, Gairlochy, Laggan and all points... More
