The only reason really for a tourist to go to Alta Floresta is to transfer to the sister hotel of the Amazonica which is the Cristilano Lodge.
Having said that, the Amazonica is very clean, rooms are basic with hot showers and a TV. The hotel has really nice gardens and a pool.
