nice surprise on arrival with the setting and pool etc, the owners were a bit eccentric to say the least but in a friendly way! the interior looked like a car boot sale explosion, books, board games, paintings everywhere but it gave the place a quirky charm. This place wasn't quite what we were expecting, but we nonetheless enjoyed our stay. It has very much a B&B feel - almost like staying with an eccentric aunt and uncle. The hotel was originally a water mill & has been converted into a small hotel using some rooms in the original building & by creating a new wing of 5 or 6 rooms that run out over the mill stream.
