We wanted to take the children to Carcassonne on our way to Spain. This hotel is in a dreadfully unattractive location but the hotel itself is as you would expect a traditional French family hotel to be. The rooms were a bit gloomy but comfortable. Stayed here before we flew home for the weekend from Carcasonne Airport. (Hotel about 15 minutes drive away) Found it a very pleasant experience, the new owners were lovely and tried very hard to please. We stayed here for three nights in order to explore Carcassonne and the Cathar region. The hotel itself is clean and the staff friendly. The sign leading to the hotel says that it is under new management. Our room didn't have air conditioning, though at the end of our stay I did notice that many of the other rooms do... More
