Our double room was quite small but comfortable and quiet. Location great in a quiet but scenic spot close to the centre of town. What was memorable was the quality of the food and the efforts of the staff to serve a group of 12 people well and with great charm.

Initially we were disappointed when we arrived and found a notice on the door that said the hotel was “exceptionally closed” until 5pm. It was in fact 5.10 before it reopened. My wife and I had read good reports on this hotel so we booked 2 nights in September. Apparently there is now new management and we had a poor experience at the hotel.
