Found this place for an overnight stop almost by accident. A bit off the beaten track (some 20 mins outside Rouen) so VERY quiet - apart from the mill stream and an owl two fields away. Had the dog with us (who was made most welcome) so were in one of the "garden rooms" - one of the converted outbuildings.... More

We booked believing that it only did B&B but were pleasantly suprised to find that they had opened a new restaurant. Everything about the place was superb. We were fortunate to be able to watch some visiting artists putting their impressions down on canvas too.

Booked at this charming place ahead and spent a day in Rouen. We were heading to Giverny and this was a lovely spot to sleepover. Our family of 4 stayed in the Hebergerie and it is lovely. There is a pullout couch for the kids on the main level. Parents get the loft above, with views to the stream and weeping willows. Beautifully renovated and a great value. Breakfast is pricy, though, and the coffee wasn't very hot.

Charming hotel in an old traditional house, immersed in gardens and close to a romantic little river forming a pond. The windmill is no longer there though. Easy to find, in a beautiful and peaceful area! On arrival the sun was setting making the place look great, especially driving along the driveway. We were showed our room which was, considering the rest of the b and b, simple. A lovely clean bathroom, only one downside; shower didn't work too well. Not very powerfull and a broken showerhead!...
