We had a great night in Portmagee. Mary was super helpful. She was able to book me on the Skellig boat trip when I thought it was full. Thanks Mary because it was a simply amazing experience. Send us in the right direction for food and entertainment. The room and bathroom were very clean and a good size. I would... More

I’m ashamed to say that this review is well over due. I stayed at the Calafont a few months ago and was totally blown away with the hospitality that I received. I was visiting the area purposely to visit the Skelligs and to become more familiar with what Portmagee and Valentia Island had to offer. Mary was just fantastic. She... More

I stayed at this cute little b and b for two nights in August and found it to be just perfect. The host, Mary, is so sweet and tries to help you with any needs you have. I came to Portmagee specifically with the intentions of visiting Skellig Michael, which is always a chancey proposition given the weather. Mary tried... More

We stay here 2 nights, and everything was fine. Mary is really kind, the room was spacious and redecorated, the breakfast was good and there's a lovely view from the bow-window. I really recommend it! Portmagee is a little village (few houses) with just 2 place to eat, so make sure to go out for dinner before 9 pm or... More

We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Mary is gracious and kind and was eager to make our stay perfect. From calling to make our reservations for Skellig Michael to washing a load of our laundry to guiding us to the local attractions, Mary was wonderful! We highly recommend this B&B!

Cant fault this place, clean, comfortable, lovely view of Valencia Island, great breakfast. Spent six nights here and it is home from home, Mary is friendly and very welcoming. It's about a ten minute walk from the town and is peaceful.

We would highly recommend Calafont 's picturesque location, restful ambience, comfortable clean rooms, superb breakfasts and most of all for our hostess Mary who made us so welcome. She arranged our boat trip to Skellig Michael which proved the highlight of our visit to Kerry. Thankyou Mary for everything - Pat and David (two weary motorcycle travellers ) - Floreat... More

Excellent Accommodation In Portmagee situated just outside the main village. Couldn't wish for anything nicer. The location is very beautiful, and the B & B is very cosy and clean. Nice breakfast with attentive and friendly service. This ticks all the boxes for a solo traveller, couple or a family. Thanks to Mary for such a nice stay.
