We were attending a local wedding so spent very little time at the hotel. We were in Rm8 which was clean and spacious enough for our travel cot and luggage. Stayed 2 nights to nip up the nearby munros - very friendly welcome, grand room (No 6) overlooking the loch - nice chat withe locals over a whiskey - landlord has 2 very friendly (although a tad loud) labradors - nice hand made quilt on the bed - super breakfast.

I stayed here for three nights in september with two friends whilst on a motorcycling break. visited this hotel really by accident due to car break-down. we were camping and visited for drinks every day twice for 3 days. one of the best places we visited pub-wise on a 3 week holiday in scotland with real-ale and friendly staff. there is a public bar at the back.
