Very good place, product and the owners are quite nice and helpful. Very beautiful place as well. They manage it very professionnally. Far away from everything but really a place of pace and relax. The countryside is so nice. Go to the lake Mburo ! It is worth it. You can maybe see the hippos ! The food is good,... More

Mihingo was our first stop in our Uganda tour and a superb choice for a beginning. We were picked up in Entebbe airport and drove directly here. We arrived late, welcomed by the managers and taken care of immediately. The room/tent was organized as requested, a very big space that accommodated us parents on a double bed and additional three... More

Mihingo is wonderful. The rooms reflect real attention to detail and are designed and decorated in extremely good taste using authentic, local materials (unsurprising given that the owners of the Lodge also own the Banana Boat shops in Kampala). The food is astonishingly good given the remoteness of the location. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The views are quite... More

Although we only stayed one night we really loved this place.I had hurt my knee and was having difficulty walking so I was "ferried" around the lodge by the extremely efficient staff. Our luxury tent was very comfortable and had one of the best bathrooms we have ever had.It was a great pleasure to have a shower while looking out over... Had our honeymoon at Mihingo, stayed about 5 days in all. Was a great experience, the staff really went out of their way to create a lovely atmosphere. We had allot of privacy and a great view from our room. Also loved the game drive. Didn't want to leave at the end and look forward to going again. More

My husband and I stayed 1 night at Mihingo Lodge and we enjoyed every second! The lodge is beautifully situated on top of a series of kopjes overlooking Lake Mburo National Park. Our safari tent had amazing view and was very privately located. It was beautifully decorated and had a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with shower. Staff... More

We travelled to Mihingo with our 2 kids (2 yrs & 6 months) for a 2 night stay. The staff were lovely, very helpful and well spoken. The meals were all wonderful, including 3 course dinners! Coffee, tea and biscuits were brought to our room every morning at a prearranged time so we could sip coffee on our balcony &... More

Warm and efficiënt welcome. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent service. Nice little shop. But the tents, despite some nice decoration, need refurbishment and updates. Beware of the fact that some of the tents are some 200 stairs down the main building. They are really not suited if you are in bad physical condition. No internet and dificult... More

Dear Guests, We are happy that you enjoyed our food and service. However, you were right Buffalo tent needed to be replaced and the new tent was in fact sitting in our store waiting to be hung. We are very sorry that we had not managed to hang it before your arrival. Mihingo Lodge is designed so that all rooms... More

My husband and I stayed at mihingo lodge for 4 nights in February 2012 after two weeks travelling round Uganda.. With lots of predawn starts and long drives on dirt roads we wanted to have a bit of a rest. Thus place is magical- 9 rooms, all very private built on an outcrop of rocks in the middle of nowhere... What a place - the perfect location on a mountain/hilltop in the middle of Lake Mburo National Park. If you can ask for the Kings Room - this is on the top and has a breathtaking view from the deck, and the bedroom. Step off the deck and you have a 360 degree view - simply stunning. The cabin with... More
