Went to the hotel for a business meeting. The hotel was amazing to drive up to the grounds are certainly stunning but what really let the hotel down for me was the interior which was somewhat tired looking. It was easy to get too, just 15 from the A16. The bedroom I stayed in had a rather odd faux Japanese... More

It is an excellent hotel in magnificent chateau, which is also very well maintained. Just a 40 min away from Paris and you are in beautifull and quite place. Huge park, well decorated upscale rooms and restaurant to match. We had room in chateau and it wad true 4 star room. Staff is very attentive, and take their job seriously.... More

This stunning "chateau-hotel", set well back from the road in a 15 acre park, was built for Jean Rothschild and is certainly a private, luxurious retreat. My room was very comfortable, with robes and slippers provided, and great sunsets along with a refreshing breeze on the third floor. The toilet is separated from the bathtub /vanity area, making it helpful... More

Highlights of our recent return to Chateau Monvillargenne confirmed the lavishness of the expansive grounds, an unparalleled Wellness center, a dining room, Le Vilargene, which retains its high standards, an effective Business center, a soothing meeting place in the James Edouard bar and very cordial staff. Our room was spacious enough for the three of us and provided terrific views... More

It is a very upmarket looking hotel and I have to say that the service from the staff was excellent all round. We stayed in an annex room which was a great disappointment for a 4* hotel. They were much cheaper than the rest of the rooms but I have had better rooms in many a 3* establishment. No drawers,... More

We had a standard room, but got a HUGE room with a small balcony(requested, but no extra cost) Great restaurant and bar, not cheap but then again i wasnt expecting it to be, fabulous elegant gardens and communal areas. A very very pleasant experience we will repeat in the future More

Wife and I visited, without the children for a nice weekend. Food, suite and setting were fantastic! Very romantic, as snow on the ground when we arrived. Cannot fault the suite, which was large and comfortable. The food was brilliant and had a wonderful cheese trolley..... Perfect! More

TV a bit old, but spa bath great. Beautiful building, but no real walks around the grounds. Hard to even find your way out. Location very remote, need a car, in which case it would be great. More

Stayed in Room 002 which was in the main building. Two level room which was well equipped and clean, warm and cosy. Food was excellent and service was good. Only downside was barman very keen to close up on time and a bit 'offhand' when we asked for another drink after 0100hrs. There as part of a business conference. can't... More

The main hotel is a magnificent building that is unfortunately spoilt by 2 large 'carbuncles' that are the annexes. We stayed here as part of a package tour. Our room in the annex was adequate, but rather worn and storage space was meagre (e.g. no drawers). There was no air conditioning - we would have expected that as standard in... More
