On the positive side this hotel is well situated to explore the pretty village of Lourmarin and the staff are very helpful and eager to please. The new owners claim they have renovated the hotel but I cannot see where that work was carried out because I stayed in 2 different rooms and neither was renovated. The rooms were dark... More

I traveled to Lourmarin in May to attend a friend's wedding in the gorgeous village. I've been to Lourmarin before, and the second trip didn't disappoint! We chose to stay in the Moulin de Lourmarin hotel which is located in the heart of the village, well within walking distance to all of the shops and cafes. The hotel was well... More

Dear guests, Thank you for your nice comments. Le Moulin de Lourmarin is now part and one of Les Maisons Edouard Loubet. We have just taken it over. Le Moulin has been totally renovated but keeps a provencal touch. The Restaurant is "Le Bistrot du Moulin". The "Bistrot" provides a provencal cuisine, with Luberon touch. Tea Lounge. Ice Creams and... More

Moulin de Lourmarin is a nice hotel situated in very quite town of Lourmarin. It's a perfect combination of good price, accomodation and location. Breakfasts are repeating, but are ok and quality of food is acceptable. We were most of our time visiting places around Lourmaring, therefore we haven' spend a lot of time in Moulin de Lourmarin. I would... More

I would recommend this hotel both for its charm , friendly staff, and location. This hotel was a olive oil factory which has been converted into a hotel. They have managed to retain the some of the original factory artifactswhich adds to its charm. More

I booked this hotel for a 3 night stay as a birthday present for my 30 year old daughter and myself. We had seperate deluxe rooms which were really below standard. The bathrooms in particular were poor with fittings either missing or hanging from the walls. eg my shower was lying in the bath with no attatchment on the wall... More

This is a delightful hotel in a converted moulin a huile where we received a warm welcome from excellent staff on our 5 night stay. The unfavourable reviews about the restaurant should be ignored: Edouard Loubet used to have his 2** Michelin restaurant here, but after he moved this to Bonnieux the restaurant at the Moulin clearly gave dissatisfaction to... First, thank you for your comments. We have just taken over Le Moulin de Lourmarin. Our Hotel is now part of Maisons Edouard Loubet. The Moulin has been totally renovated, still with a provencal touch of decoration. The Restaurant is now "Bistrot du Moulin" proposing a provencal cuisine with a Luberon touch. Tea and lounge. Future art exhibitions. During summer,... More

We stayed here in Spring 2007 with our 16 year old son. We flew into Marseille and rented a car. Each day we visited different towns and had one of most relaxing trips ever. We loved the way the hotel was converted from an olive oil mill but remnants were retained, giving it wonderful charm. Breakfast was great. We had... More

We spent four nights in the Moulin and thought it was a lovely hotel. The few staff that were there were very friendly. Breakfast was very good. We were disappointed that the restaurant had been closed early October as they was not mentioned on the website. Having visited Lourmarin before we were looking forward to a nice meal here. The... We stayed several nights at the end of August and travelled to Lourmarin by bus from Aix en Provence that was not very convenient; however, the hotel staff very kindly met us at the bus stop and walked us through the small town to find the hotel.
