We arrived in April to beautiful spring sun, we were told we had just missed 3 weeks of constant rain! We stayed in escamillos, which was perfect for our family of 3, and there would easily be space for a 4th child as the second room was a twin. The apartment was really clean, lovely bed linen and ample fluffy... More

Dear Traveller Many thanks for your feedback! We just wanted to follow up on the point about the washing machine charge... There is a large communal laundry area at the top of the Molino with a washing machine and dryer, along with plenty of lines for drying on the top terrace and an ironing board. The first wash is free... More

We stayed just before Xmas and, whilst the village was quiet, it was just what we needed! I'd just had an op and needed to relax and found the Molina the most perfect place to do it. The rooms were cosy, tastefully put together and immaculately clean. We stayed in Casa Carmen and it was big, light and airy. There... More

The place itself was nice and very well decorated and Gaucin was lovely. Having said that it was a let down to find nothing available when we arrived, not even oil, and having to pay each time we used the washing machine also seemed odd.

My partner and I stayed last week in the Smugglers Suite. As previous guests have mentioned the accommodation is of a very high standard. The beds were really comfortable and the en-suites were well equipped. We loved eating on our patio in the evening watching the sun set on the mountains. The pool was a godsend and we often had... Need I say more than Molino Del Carmen offers the most relaxing setting and comfortable accomodation for a very beautiful holiday. We stayed for 5 nights in total, and were charmed by Gaucins fantastic views, gorgeous white stone village, and a wide selection of places to eat. Molina del Carmen was a wonderful retreat, with its hide away pool, and... More

We spent two fantastic weeks in Lillias Pastas apartment which is a beautifully presented and well-equipped apartment in a converted olive mill. There are two good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms (his and hers - very handy!), kitchen and living area. There isn't any air conditioning but there are two large fans which were very useful! There is a small patio... More

We stayed in Don Jose's chamber and it was perfect for a couple. We had spent over a week in Spain already in hotels and really wanted our own space and our own kitchen, so we were delighted with what we found upon our arrival. The décor was extremely tasteful, the bathroom and kitchen were lovely, and there was a... More

My partner and I spent 9 days at Molino del Carmen, staying in Casa Carmen. We had the most fabulous holiday and didn't want to leave! The Molino is utterly perfect in every way - beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, it provided the perfect place to stay for a relaxing Spanish holiday. The owners of the villa met us on... My partner and I spent a week at the Molino del Carmen after finding it on sawdays.co.uk. We also looked at the reviews on tripadvisor and completely agree with the other recommendations. We stayed in Dancaire's Den, and despite this being one of the smaller suites we had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Even on the... More

My husband and I have just returned from a four-night stay at the exquisite Molino del Carmen. We stayed in Escamillo's Villa and it was simply perfect. The lovely owners greeted us with a bottle of sparkling Cava Wine to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. Our residence had a breathtaking view down to the coast of Gibraltar and Morocco from huge...
