Stayed here for 3 day break. The grounds are fantastic. Spa in hotel is over-rated.Food,v good with great choice of meals etc. Staff professional but not friendly. Rooms very nice and big but 'cold'. Some areas areas are in need of an update/decoration. The bars are great to be fair. Expensive to say the least and therefore taking all into... More

We stayed in this Hotel for New Years Eve 2011-2012. Our overall thoughts after staying in this hotel was rather dissapointing, the worst being breakfast. The room and the bathroom were ok. The corridor form/areas from the reception to the rooms needed decoration - carpets, decor etc a refresh. When we arrived to the bedroom we discovered that even after... More

I've been going to La Manga for 10 years, back in the day this hotel was a Hyatt Grand Regency hotel with a casino, two bars, a gorgeous restaurant, games/drawing room, excellent service, even a room for internet access and all round amazing 5 star hotel! When this hotel changed hands to the Principe Felipe - I thought I'd give... More

Prompted to write this review as have just come back from Dona Filipa and San Lorenzo. We stayed at Principe Felipe last year, around May time, and have to say it was excellent. Truly a 5 star experience, our club room was excellent. Golf very good, course in great shape. Having compared the 2 venues, if it's 5 star and... More

5 star hotel with no hot water for four days..... Told reception four times, a lot of apologies but little action. Met the Resort Executive who took my details and said he'd get back to me, didnt bother. Golf courses ok - need greens maintenance, few buggies so ok if you like a long walk round. Wont be rushing back... More

Overall Comments: Full resort facilities in nice setting. Room: Well furnished, clean and modern with nice bathroom and great view from balcony over the 18th green and the bay. Location: A little isolated, but full resort facilities. Facilities: Outstanding, everything you could want. Food: Only ate breakfast and it was very good. Service: Low key, but professional, like a private... More

Stayed here for a wek in July. Had hotel organised transfers organised who were very professional. Arrived at the hotel to a warm greeting, room available as soon as we got there which is always nice. Room was spotless and plenty of room for 2 adults and a 10 year old. We booked the club room so had access to... More

We have been staying at principe felipe for 7 days in August. The hotel is located within a huge resort called La Manga. The resort is an autonomous village of hundreds of small villas built in the recent years and has a superstore and several shops an restaurants. Rooms are pretty spacious and have supercomfortable beds (even too big!). The... More

Staff excellent, nothing to much trouble. The hotel has everything you need and the rooms are lovely! The piano bar was so much fun as busy and music playing, but not to loud! The shuttle buses are there to take you to all the restaurants when needed as the place is huge.... Go to mulligans and do karaoke good fun.... More

A pleasant hotel with all necessary ingredients for a perfect stay. Just the performance of the local players is not always up to the task. We chose the hotel for its childen friendliness, which is indeed the case. High marks on that aspect. Reception is friendly but slow, the impression is that the guests interfere with the routine of some... More
