We had our accomodation booked and paid for via a travel agent in Turkey. On arrival the receptionist (who was very pleasant) couldn't find our booking, so she asked us to wait while she got the manager. Manager arrived and proceeded to yell at us saying he had no record of booking and even if he did we would have... More

Our stay in Glicorisa Hotel was the worst and most expensive experience from all our vacantions in Greece. No elevator for luggages, very poor breakfast, bad smell in the bathroom, air conditioned very noisy like a not effective engine of the airplane, the beach is unsupervised and with low level people, too high prices at the bar and restaurant for... I really liked this place. Hotel beach was one of the better organized hotel beaches i have been to, and most people were hotel guests. Service was great. I did not understand why this hotel was ranked C by greek classification, since the hotel was certainly as good as any 4-star hotel, exept for the standard of the rooms, which... More

Well we wanted to visit the beach at Glicorisa Bay Hotel today, which has a so called blue Flag placing it to the "clean" beaches. We had a small dog with us. The Hotel Manager appeared after a while, wanting to grab the dog and take it away. He was aggressive and hostile, even brought his Muscled-Beefy Bodyguards and threatened... More

Hotel was very good, rooms very comfortable, may be beds are very high for someone. Refridgerator work good as air-condition. Beach is beautiful, pool nearby, sunbeds along pool is free, on beaches is paid.Food was brilliant, service too. Only mistake is noise from airplanes.I would like to visit one more during spring to see Samos with flowers :-) More

We had a very nice stay at Glicorisa Beach Hotel. It is close to the airport, however, not disturbingly cllose, and almost next to Pythagoria, a small beautiful port with plenty of restaurants. The hotel is not renovated, but clean and comfortable. The rooms are nice, but the bathrooms are small and the beds a little too hard for us.... More

Stayed for one week in May, experienced the standard charter hotel room, i.e. nothing fancy, but clean, great view, and quaint family service. The beach is secluded, nice and clean blue water, no wave-action. The pool and beach/pool bar was great too with very friendly service. Free shuttle to Pythagorian city where a larger F&B choice is available. Taxi back... More

"Sweet Roots" (Glyco-risa) is a very apt name for this lovely hotel. We originally booked for one week but extended to two almost as soon as we got there. Owned by the Karagianis family, it's set in a beautiful sandy bay overlooking the Dodecanese islands, the Turkish coast and the "wine dark" Aegean sea. The hotel is above the bay... More

Glicorisa beach hotel is absolutely beautiful located with a breathtaking view of the bay, turkish coastline and the Mediterranian sea. The room was of ordinary size, clean and with wonderful seaview. Including fridge (free), air con (free) and safetybox (1 euro/day). The bathroom was clean, great plus for the shower curtain. New towels and cleaning every day, new linen every... More

This is a great place with a great location. The service was excellent in many areas: hotel staff friendly and helpful, cleaning staff prompt, restaurant and beach staff quick and patient to help us while practicing a few sentences in the greek language. The room was cozy with a terrace that gives a spectacular view of the seemingly private cove... More
